The ND4 has an optical throughput of 1/4, which corresponds to a shutter speed of approximately 2. The ND8 has an optical throughput of 1/8, which corresponds to a shutter speed of approximately 3. The ND16 has an optical throughput of 1/16, which corresponds to a shutter speed of approximately 4.

The Purple Filter is suitable for black and white photography, as it can make a pale image more vivid, charming, and colorful.
